COSPLAY

• Round 1 - Costume Evaluation:
• In this round, contestants will be judged on their costume's accuracy to their character (more weightage) and adherence to the fest's theme (Bonus Points). Attention to detail, use of appropriate materials, quality, aesthetic appeal, fit to the character, creativity, and overall presentation will be evaluated.


• Round 2 - Action Sequence:
• Time limit is 3 minutes only.
• In this round, contestants will be judged on the accuracy of their character's actions, drama in their performance, and portrayal of emotions and personalities. This includes the character's movements, fighting style, and abilities.


• Round 3 - Trivia: In this round, the final remaining contestants will be asked questions based on a theme with a few rewards and penalties, and the one with the highest points will be declared as the winner.


• All types of characters (superheroes, cartoon characters, anime characters or your favourite movie stars) are allowed for the cosplay.


• For round 1, contestants must carry a photograph ( digital and physical copy - colour) of the character they are playing, for better evaluation and easy judgement. Failing to carry the physical copy will result in deduction of marks.


• For round 2, contestants are required to come with a clipping (video, YouTube video or any other format) of the original action sequence which they will present before showcasing their sequence. No extra time will be provided at the venue to dress up into the costume. It is important to ensure that the costume is appropriate.
